ICCA launches a project with the support of the USAID Economic Governance Program


ICCA with the support of the economic management program of the United States International Agency
(USAID) and in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, is
launching the project, aiming s to support the processes that Georgia needs when replacing the old Soviet construction standards with modern European standards. The project will contribute to the smooth and flexible implementation of the current process.
Using invited experts and the Ministry of Economy, the association will develop a special training
program on the direction of Eurocodes. This program is new to Georgia and will be implemented for the
first time within the framework of this project.
The retraining program includes ToT, intended for young professional engineers under 29.
Successful graduates will provide pilot training sessions in partner universities having corresponding
programs.
