Established in 2010, New Cement focuses on recycling industrial waste, specifically ash, to produce diverse construction materials. In 2011, the company secured a patent (P 6005) for inventing low-clinker and clinker-free cements and binding materials, enabling the production of various cement grades and dry mixes using innovative technologies.
The company’s products are widely utilized in major infrastructure projects, including: Road stabilization and recycling; asphalt and concrete production (both conventional and roller-compacted); hydro-technical and civil engineering; and block manufacturing.
In 2023, under the auspices of the relevant UN department, the company established the Anthropogenic Resources Association of Georgia (ARAG). That same year, ARAG became a full member of the European Coal Combustion Products Association (ECOBA), leading to Georgia hosting the ECOBA General Assembly in November 2024.
In collaboration with leading global organizations, New Cement continues to implement innovative waste-processing technologies. The company has developed a unique, eco-friendly microwave drying system and, together with South African specialists, produced a high-grade Georgian geopolymer cement. This product is entirely clinker-free and results in zero CO carbon emissions.
