On October 10, in the “Rooms Hotel Tbilisi”, the Infrastructure Construction Companies’ Association and LLC “Georgia Melioration” organized a
regular work meeting with representatives of construction companies.
It is noteworthy that similar meeting with Georgia’s Melioration has been organized by the Infrastructure Builders Association and has been implemented as a good practice, considering the builders’ remarks.
At the meeting the Georgian Melioration introduced information about the planned and implemented projects to the potential contractors and with the Association discussed the construction companies’ representatives’ views regarding the tender conditions.
All the main issues that were discussed at the meeting are important for the process of procurement of drainage and irrigation systems in order to purchase the works in a competitive environment.
The issues discussed concerns the needs of the applicants in terms of experience – what kind of experience should be considered when announcing the tender regarding the procurement of a melioration works and whether it is the experience in the field of hydraulic works; As well as the timetable of the execution of works, issues of requests for non-resident companies, etc. See the photographs of this meeting here
