On September 19-20, the Infrastructure Construction Companies’ Association organized a two-day training along with a member company “Duro Group”, French company “LafargeHolcim” and Swiss company “Egis Groupe”.
Training – “Road Construction and Stabilization Methodology” Using Road Hydraulic Acrobatics “Doroport” and “Dorosol” aims to determine road designs, design and specifications of laboratory studies / tests using the road hydraulic binder; Also, the introduction of international practice of designing, construction and research works using the road hydraulic binder, which has been intensively used for decades in Europe and in post-soviet space. The Ambassador of France to Georgia, Pascal Menie, who gave a welcome speech, spoke about support for Georgian-French relations and business development in Georgia, additionally emphasized the role of the Infrastructure Construction Companies’ Association in the above-mentioned case and wished the success to the participating companies.
The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia; Tbilisi City Hall Representatives of Batumi City Hall; Head of Adjara Roads and Amelioration Systems Management Department and his deputy and representatives of various municipalities of Georgia and representatives of road construction companies and construction supervisory-expert institutions, participated in the training. The training was led by invited specialists from Switzerland and France – Ovidiu OPREA – Coordinator of European Road Club (LafargeHolcim) and Thierry MOLLIER – Geotechnical Expert and Manager (Egis Groupe). The participants were awarded certificates.
