One more member of the Association was added to the State Procurement Agency’s white list

Another member of the Association “L & L” was added to the White List of the State Procurement Agency! Of the 38-members of the Association, 5 are Associated and 33 Plenipotentiaries. 12 out of them are registered in the State Procurement Agency’s white list.

These are: “IN-SI”, “Dagi”, “Caucasus Road Project”, “NCC”, “Transmshen”, “Anagi”, “ComfortMax XXI”, “Khomeriki and Company”, “GEO Group”, “Arali” “Alliance” and the above “L & L”. 40% of Association’s membership does not take part in state tenders at all.
According to the Law of Georgia on State Procurement, the white list (in the registry of qualified suppliers participating in procurement) becomes a qualified supplier who meets the requirements defined by the Order # 2 on Approval of the Procedure and Terms of Production of Whitelist of February 26, 2016 of the Chairman of the State Procurement Agency.
The registered supplier in the white list benefits from the following privileges:
• The supplier registered in the white list is exempted from the obligation to present the documents asserting the qualification data, regardless of whether the tender documentation requires the presentation of the documents asserting the qualification data;
• In case of preliminary settlement, the supplier registered in the white list is obliged to submit to the procuring organization the guarantee of half of the amount of advance payments in accordance with the conditions under the contract;
• In case of requesting guarantee of fulfillment of the contract, the procuring organization shall submit half of the guarantee of fulfillment of the requested contract;
• By the decision of the procuring entity, the supplier registered in the white list may be fully exempt from the submission of the guarantee of contract fulfillment.
