On February 20, the meeting with business ombudsman Irakli Lekvinadze was held at the office of the Taxpayers’ Union. The meeting was organized by “Taxpayers Union”, “Infrastructure Construction Companies’ Association” and “Business Association of Distributors”.
The chairmen of these business associations and representatives of the member companies were present. At an introductory meeting, the Business Ombudsman presented the participants with a vision of important issues.
The meeting was held in the format of dialogue and representatives of various business sectors reported to Irakli Lekvinadze about the existing problems. The sides discussed prospects of future cooperation, the business ombudsman promises business representatives to actively communicate with administrative bodies, legislative and executive authorities, also noted that monitoring legislation should be monitored in close cooperation with business ombudsman in case of deficiencies.
Representatives of Infrastructure Builders Association, Taxpayers’ Union, and Distributor Business Association agreed with the business ombudsman in the active format of future cooperation.
