The creation of reliable statistical data and a transparent methodology for labor costs in the construction sector will contribute to the accurate calculation of construction project expenses and, consequently, the successful implementation of such projects.
During the meeting, participants also discussed the guidelines and assessment tools required for the mandatory certification of four regulated professions in the construction sector.
These initiatives will play a significant role in promoting employment-friendly economic development and enhancing the professional growth of workers in Georgia’s construction sector.
The meeting was held within the framework of the project “Vocational Education in Georgia’s Growing Economic Sectors,” which is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ.
