ICCA and EBA presented comments and positions on the public procurement bill.

On October 18, the Association of Infrastructure Builders and the European Business Association presented a joint document on the current version of the public procurement bill.

The document contains the comments and positions developed by these two business associations, as a coalition formed in this direction, based on the opinions of member companies and with the involvement of an international expert.

The event was opened by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Georgia, Petr Mikiska, as well as a welcoming speech by the Chairmen of the Boards of the ICCA and EBA, Zviad Toidze and John Brykeveldt. The document, entitled “Comments and Positions on the Public Procurement Bill Compliance with the requirements of EU Directive # 2014/24 / EC, 2004/18 / EC”, presented by ICCA Executive Director Ana Sabakhtarishvili and expert David Margania (To Do Club), includes 18 major comments and positions.

The event was hosted by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Georgia.

These public procurement positions were developed and submitted with the financial support of CIPE (Center for International Private Enterprises).
