
On February 23, 2016, a working meeting was held between the representatives of private and public sector, on the rule of determining expenses and planned returns on state procurement of construction works.
The meeting was organized by the Infrastructure Construction Companies’ Association, with the support of USAID project G4G. Within the dialogue framework, the parties discussed issue of declaring the 55th Decree of the Government of Georgia on January 14, 2014, “On Approval of the Rules for Determining Costs and Planned Gains in the State Procurement of Construction of Technical Regulations”, invalid.
Participants of the dialogues were: Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Ekaterine Sepashvili, various LEPLs and construction departments of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, Business Ombudsman’s Office, Representatives of Tbilisi City Hall, representative of the National Procurement Agency, L. Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau representative, Inspecting Body, LLC Optim + Representative, and Chairman of the Infrastructure Construction Companies’ Association, Executive Director, Member of the Association and Leader of USAID’s G4G Advocacy and Organizational Development Component.
