On April 17, as part of the construction sector’s most significant event of the year — Caucasus Build — the Infrastructure Construction Companies Association (ICCA) organized a panel discussion titled: “How Large Projects are Built in Georgia – Procurement and Decisions.”
Within the panel, industry leaders held an in-depth discussion on the supplier selection process, the balance between quality and price, the advantages of local production, and the logistical challenges companies face in their daily operations.
The speakers also explored the technologies currently seeing increased market demand and reviewed the key trends that will define the transformation of procurement processes over the next 2-3 years. Special attention was given to the role of local suppliers and the qualitative development of services available in the market.
